Thomas leads GSA’s newly reorganized Federal Acquisition Service team in the management of $55 billion governmentwide on procurement spending annually. Underneath Thomas’ FAS umbrella sits the Technology Transformation Services, the GSA team responsible for driving digital services adoption and IT modernization across government. He sees his leadership as one of his biggest responsibilities. “One of my most important duties is to inspire the people at FAS, give them a clear sense of direction, and focus our team on a few key goals that move our mission forward,” he said recently.
