Officials from New York and Philadelphia said their cybersecurity education programs need to reach their communities just as much as they do city employees.
A class of 14 technologists helped the city complete several initiatives, including broadband mapping and a dashboard to track hate crimes across the five boroughs.
Citywide CIO Jessica Tisch said the pandemic forced her agency to rush new services online, while also supporting a pivot to remote work for thousands of staff.
