Weichert has been doing just a little bit of leadership in recent months. The deputy director for management at the Office of Management and Budget has also been serving as the acting director of the Office of Personnel Management since early October 2018. For Weichert, good leadership depends on good information. “In times of great change, it is critical that leaders are able to leverage data and evidence to chart a course that clearly articulates why changes are necessary, how change will be implemented and what the desired outcomes will be for mission, service and stewardship,” she said. “Great leaders will then work to ensure that their team is armed with all the needed resources to execute against the vision.”
